We all know fab meets can be underwhelming on occasions, but what about when they turn out far better than expected?

I had an awesome meet this morning, now we're in the garden drinking gin, playing Marvel top trumps, eating olives and about to get the paddling pool out. Didn't expect this, but it's lovely.

Any other surprising meets to share?

Oh come on surely others have had meets that have been better than expected?! I've just had so many disappointing ones of late I wanted to share a happy one

Several "house parties" that an ex and myself hosted turned out to be excellent nights. . . The planning was fun but a day or two before we had the usual doubts, would any guests turn up? Would they mix well? Etc. . .

We only had one "flat"party in 4 years . . So we considered them a success!

On our meet we just felt a really strong connection. Corny I know lol. Neither of us were looking for more than but fell for each other. Been together two and a half years and just our first place together.

Thank you. We took some time away from fab to develop the relationship and see how we felt. After a couple of months joined as a couple too.

Yeh, I had a meet up with a lass who was considering leaving her hubby to be with some bloke in Cheshire. We connected and were FBs for 5 years.
