A Home Among The Woodland Creatures

The World is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real, because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round, and it has thrills and chills and is very brightly colored, and it's very loud. And it's fun, for a while.

Some people have been on the ride for a long time, and they've begun to question, 'Is this real, or is this just a ride?', and other people have remembered, and they've come back to us and they say 'Hey, don't worry. Don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.' and we KILL THOSE PEOPLE.

"Shut him up! We have alot invested in this ride! SHUT HIM UP! Look at my furrows of worry. Look at my big bank account, and my family. This just has to be real."

It's just a ride.

But we always kill those good guys who try and tell us that. You ever noticed that? And let the demons run amok. But it doesn't matter, because ... It's just a ride.

And we can change it anytime we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. A choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear wants you to put bigger locks on your door, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love, instead see all of us as one.

Here's what we can do to change the world right now, to a better ride:

Take all that money we spent on weapons and defense each year and instead spend it feeding, clothing, and educating the poor of the world, which it would many times over, not one human being excluded, and WE CAN EXPLORE SPACE, TOGETHER, BOTH INNER AND OUTER, forever ... in peace.

...and our enemies DO NOT take all the money that they spend on weapons each year and spend it on clothing, food etc. Instead, they build bigger weapons and subjugate those that are foolish enough to believe that everyone WANTS to live in peace.

All Bill Hicks did was take his dreams and put them on paper but that's all they ever will be - dreams.

Call me cynical but is that not also the reason why sentances for crime in this country are so pathetic? The industry for stopping and preventing crime is that big now that criminals and criminal activity are a bit part of englands economy

Indeed.

And not forgetting the money for weapons does feed people and put clothing on their backs... the people who work directly making the guns and ammo and not just the fat cats taking the cream. What about... the people who make the testing gear, the people who make the containers and boxes, the people who make a spring or bolt or washer, the people who drive the lorries, the people who service the lorries, crew the boats, work the dock and stations and loading bays, the people who make labels, the people who inspect the paperwork (or not if you are cynical lol) the people who make the food in the canteen..... yes we could stop making weapons and use the money for clothing and food... but for who?

we need wars to depopulate the planet from us ...there is going to be 10 billion on this little rock soon and we aint gonna feed us all no matter how intensive the farming or gm the food is .

So the bigger question is and its a gruesome one ...is it not "green" to have war isn't it always going to be our natural way,it is after all based on greed and expansion.

here endeth the first lesson ...pmsl

Tobleton, yours is a worthy sentiment, to be applauded and worked towards.....

Unfortunately it fails on two levels....

1). War is mankinds way of population control, think of lemmings.

2). Man is a flawed being, and there will always be those who hate, or covet, or kill.

There will never be worldwide peace, love and harmony, all we can do is try to work towards less of the other stuff.

Lets start today....

when you are out and about, smile, say please and thank-you, wish people a nice day.... its contagious.
