A fixer

I am mentally and physically exhausted. I am an empath and seem to spend my life finding people who need to be helped.

I have always done support type jobs and most of my family and friends lean on me for help and support when times are tough. Broken people seem to gravitate to me and I seem to be atuned to people who are in pain.

Who supports and fixes a fixer when they are running on empty?

It’s really important to have your own support network and the ability to manage your own boundaries to protect your own energy and well-being. Ensuring you have time to recharge your batteries and heal yourself.

Self care is so important when you are an empath. Take a time out, turn your phone off and step away from social media for a day or two, learn meditation, spend time on your hobby, get a spa treatment or just go for a walk somewhere beautiful. You can't fix the world all the time and people will just have to put their big girl pants on until you get back refreshed x

Yep and learn how to put up a shield. Also try to recognise when people can help themselves and when you can ask them for help. You need to manage your empathy.
