A lady I work with is on here but she doesnt know i am.The young lads in the office have found out she's a swinger not from me and gossip about her.Should I message her and tell her their talking about her?

Tough one indeed, is one of them on the site and found out she is? It is always a chance that you will get found out as they say it's a small world. Might be worth mentioning it to her not really sure. I work with a girl who is on here, gotta admit her pictures are awesome and they are great to look at but I would never tell her probably because I'm to polite... But if I did maybe we could strike up a swinging partnership... If only I had a crystal ball..

Erm.....I think you've missed the point? Her face is on show on her profile so I assume she's ok with being seen. He's not "confronting" her about her swinging lifestyle, he's asking if he should let her know her colleagues are talking about her.

For me I'd rather someone spoke to me discreetly in person than sent me a message on here. It shows they are being sensitive and genuine.

It would depend on my friendship with her. If she is just somebody who works in the same place Id just block her so she cant find me. But if we were quite friendly, chatted over lunch, took breaks together, would socialise with her etc. I would have to have a word with the colleagues gossiping. Its none of their business what she does in her own time! Id probably gently ask her if she is aware of the gossip too. She may be ok with it but also could be mortified so do be tactful and do it face to face quietly not on here.

Most of the office knows have defended her to a few no doubt she will find out they know after a few comments towards her

difficult one, I agree with all the points made above.

my worry would be.

what if she besides that you started all the gossip as she now knows that you are on here.

caution is the watch word, many shot messengers line the path to salvation.

At best.

write her an anonymous note and pop it on her desk etc ?

They can see the profile text but the pics are pixelated. Doesn't really matter because it's easy enough to set up a profile.

How is the fact that you are on here - and know that she is - in any way relevant? Why does that have to be a factor in the situation?

It boils down to, “Some colleagues are gossiping about another colleague. Should I tell the colleague?” The answer is the same as how you would deal with it any other piece of office gossip. Do you know her well enough to bring it up with her? Is it your place to do so?

As it stands, it sounds like you're itching for an excuse to let her know that you’re on here too. That’s a totally unrelated matter.

We got noticed by a person I used to call friend and he messaged us on here I was polite back said hi then after a while blocked him because I know he’s the kind of person to gossip with the group of friends I used to be a member of

I worked in a place once and recognised someone from here and she recognised me too. There was that initial awkward look of 'oh hello'.

When all was quiet we just chatted as normal and she would say about the clubs she was going to at the weekend etc. Wasn't awkward at all.

We both just appreciated that we were part of a 'secret society' and respected each others discretion about it.

Depends on the person and if she will get embarrassed or not.

I had a guy from my workplace message me to say he recognised me from work and he went on to want a reward - it went from creepy to block quite quickly.

I've also had people approach me in another job and even on the school run, all are blocked.

I don't mix fab with day to day work/family life and anyone that tries to isn't the sort of person I would ever meet.

Personally I'd leave well alone, you're unlikely to come off as the knight in shining armour.

Men single or in a relationship can go out looking for sex, Its what we do, Pulled at the weekend, Get in lad, Split up with gf, Go out and fill your boots,

A Woman doing something similar is just dirty, Easy, A slapper etc,

Its the way we have all been brought up and I can't see if ever changing, Even with the youth of today being more out going Women will still get a reputation
