"I do love receiving flowers and I don't mind where they are from. I would prefer them to be cheap to be honest as it's the thought that counts and they don't last long. If you're going to spend a decent amount of money, buy something else that will last. Eve. x" thats ny thoughts. The reason i got my mum expensive ones was for a treat but wont do it again

"I love flowers but I prefer to buy my own. I've got cats that like to have a nibble on them and so many are poisonous. If I get my own i know they are safe around my cats." I think lilys are arent they?

Even a little but of pollen in the fur, which the cat licks off, is enough to cause a very painful death. Most flowers that grow from a bulb are highly toxic.

"I like them on special occasions. I wouldn't want them as a an "I'm sorry" gift or to cheer me up. My plan is to get my garden back to how it was when I first moved into my house. I had roses, a lavatera, a buddleia, a wild flower bed, a rockery, and various bedding plants. Now I have s. " I miss having a garden so much ![]()

"Yes, I like an unexpected gift of flowers. My son goes to market in London and brings some beautiful unusual blooms. They evoke fond memories.. the Bird of Paradise flowers for my birthday sent whilst he was in Guatemala. The gorgeous Peach roses that arrived at my workplace from a friend, smile ![]() Fressias are my absolute fav followed by white roses. They smell amazing!! I planted fressias in some pots last year. But only 5 grew sadly. They still made me smile and every time i went past them had to have a smell of them lol.

"Love flowers and giving them. But nothing in the world can beat a proper hay meadow with wild flowers and the rustle of a breeze running through it. " Sounds like an absolute nightmare for a hayfever sufferer.

"Love flowers and giving them. But nothing in the world can beat a proper hay meadow with wild flowers and the rustle of a breeze running through it. Interflora have trouble delivering that one...." Sweet vernal - the smell is fabulous and lasts throughout the year in meadow hay (though t is actually classified as a toxic plant lol!)
