Guess this is more for the ladies.

Do you like recieving flowers. If so are happy with supermarket flowers or does it have to be from the florists only. I get bought flowers once a fortnight and they last. I generally but flowers from the supermarket to give.

A few months ago i bought my mum a £50 bouquet from interflora and they where gone in three days

I love flowers diamond..I treat myself to supermarket flowers a few times a month but love getting any flowers from anyone at anytime

I do love receiving flowers and I don't mind where they are from.

I would prefer them to be cheap to be honest as it's the thought that counts and they don't last long.

If you're going to spend a decent amount of money, buy something else that will last.

My best friend sent me some when we moved home recently and really appreciated the thought and they brightened up the kitchen.

I like them on special occasions. I wouldn't want them as a an "I'm sorry" gift or to cheer me up.

My plan is to get my garden back to how it was when I first moved into my house.

I dislike cut flowers. Their smell reminds me of death.

I love wild flowers though.

My mum buys her flowers from Liddl or Aldi and they last at least a week. Interflora ones always tend to look tired and last 3 days.

I love all flowers. Occasionally my boys buy me some lily's which is so lovely. In general I tend to pick them up when they are reduced in the supermarket and dot them all around my house. They seem to last pretty well and I spend very little on them x

I love receiving flowers, I usually but a bunch each week to brighten my kitchen up. The supermarket ones usually last better than some of the more expensive ones from next etc x

Yes, I like an unexpected gift of flowers. My son goes to market in London and brings some beautiful unusual blooms.

They evoke fond memories.. the Bird of Paradise flowers for my birthday sent whilst he was in Guatemala.

The gorgeous Peach roses that arrived at my workplace from a friend, smile

I keep the cards and look back right to the Birth of my first child 43 years ago.

I think if you choose carefully supermarket flowers are quite acceptable they do last longer than florist flowers. The sad thing is most no longer have the gorgeous fragrance I like with say Fresias, forced flowers do not have the smell I find.

FT buys me flowers fairly regular and yes I love receiving them, because I like being treated like a lady. Last time I think he got some from a Waitrose store and they were gorgeous. Sadly have to throw them out today though

Lilies are deadly to cats, every art of the plant will kill them. Even a little but of pollen in the fur, which the cat licks off, is enough to cause a very painful death.

Most flowers that grow from a bulb are highly toxic.

Fressias are my absolute fav followed by white roses. They smell amazing!! I planted fressias in some pots last year. But only 5 grew sadly. They still made me smile and every time i went past them had to have a smell of them lol.

I never buy flowers and have only been given them a couple of times thankfully.

One of my cats is complete jerk! He eats flowers and also has been known to knock the vase off. He also knocks houseplants off or digs them up too so I don’t have them either.

I love flowers, buying, giving, or receiving and it doesn't matter to me where they come from, I only go by how pretty they are!! I love the mauve of tulips and stocks, and had some totally fabulous bright pink died lillies from Tescos a couple of times, they lasted 10 days!

Sweet vernal - the smell is fabulous and lasts throughout the year in meadow hay (though t is actually classified as a toxic plant lol!)
