Just been chatting to someone and they say they are currently in the USA .....errr their mobile location says 80 miles lol

Could I be wrong ?

I was syncing my IPhone to my computer and received a location report that I was in Bhutan. Weird weather we’re having all the way out here....

Where does it say I am?

I once did a Facebook tag on my current location and it said I was in Hong Kong. I was actually in Slough. That baffled me.

100%... I was in Miami for most of May yet location showed as Glasgow... My phone had data roaming and location services switched off

We use a VPN so our location can show up as anywhere.

I go abroad pretty much every week and mine doesn’t always show this. It can be inaccurate if I may have my location switched off.

In answer to your OP I'd be wary. Fab locations can be odd but not 3,000 miles odd. Trust your gut.
