We buy the Body shops massage oil and find it leaves a lovely warm tingly feeling.

Any recommendations on others we should try out?

We've been using Sweet Almond Oil from Holland and Barrett. Works week and doesn't smell at all.

Generally use baby oil no side effects or bad smell and washes off easily

They'll soon sort that out for you if you go to the right place.

I would say baby oil ..

But if getting carried away with your lady friend then squirt juice is wicked ..

Take in your mouth then spit it all over her and rub it in , lasts for ages

"I use coconut and almond oil. "

We use those as well. Also use ayumi sensual massage and body oil and salonserve relaxing massage oil with pure geranium and clary sage.

Baby oil tends to irritate certain bits

Ellison's, the health and beauty wholesalers sell a mineral based oil for massage that is practically odourless. It has a thinner feel to it than vegetable based oils which means that it is easier for the hands to glide. As a qualified Swedish masseur who has had a massage business for six years, I cannot recommend it highly enough and would always choose it over a vegetable based massage oil.

somewhere in Buckinghamshire

The body shop used to sell two great massage oils, one sensual with ylang ylang the other relaxing with lemongrass. Unfortunately they've changed what they sell now.

Prefer coconut oil, the stuff in the jar that you can also use for cooking, smells great and works very well

Coconut oil doesn't get absorbed by the skin so quickly so it's perfect.

Add in your own essential oils and with a little research you can design one perfect for you.

We started doing that a few months ago and have had great fun experimenting with different combinations.

We also use almond oil but you've already mentioned that doesn't work for you. Try the coconut oil
