"I’m signed off work at the moment and sleep about eight hours a night. And I’m still exhausted during the day. One day I somehow napped for seven hours!!! " I don't think that that still counts as a nap C

"Yes, quite normal mistress. As someone else said, your body knows when it needs more sleep and if you're still lethargic, go back to bed! " There'd be no sleep in me tonight

"I don’t have the best sleep pattern and I don’t get a lot of sleep. Generally I’m fine but on occasion I will have a very long sleep and although I think I will feel refreshed, I just feel lethargic and can get a headache. It’s normal Mistress and happens to lots of us at some point I’m sure " Thanks babs I'll bear that in mind

"Quite normal, if you are feeling more burnt out. As for the lethargy, too much sleep can make you feel as tired as having too little sleep " Kinda makes sense

"You’ve been pushing to hit your weight loss target, yes ? How’s your food / carb intake at the moment ? Also If your excercising / pushing the gym - no matter how much sleep you have - your body will still feel lethargic Just some thoughts .. " Been eating around the same for 4 weeks...and far from a gym freak...justhe a brisk walk for upto half a hour a day

"I sleep between 6-7 hours a night...but last night I had around 11 hours full sleep...I woke up and didn't now if it was sat or sun.I have been up under a far bit of pressure of late....but is this normal to sleep so long and no I had nothing to knock me out. But I still feel bloody lethergic. Your thoughts?" That fact that you feel bad suggests you overslept, which is a real problem. I really recommend 'time restricted eating' as it makes your body clock for more efficient. I used to think i was just 'not a morning person' but actually it was late night eating that meant i couldn't get up in the morning and was routinely over sleeping, but feeling shit for it. I made that simple change and now i get up easily.

Might be worth checking how many calories your actually eating.

Ah this all depends on how active you are one calorieCound does not suit all ..I'll average around 1500 to lose weigh Then when I reach my target weight the aim is to be consuming around 2000 calories to maintain the target weight

Looking into time restricted eating. Your daily window starts from the first thing that isn't water (e.g. coffee) in the morning and from there you have 9-12 hours before you should stop consuming calories. For me i delay breakfast and do 10am to 10pm.
