Are people losing the skills to be able to actually interact with the opposite sex on a night out ?

We seem to slowly be relying more and more on the use of the internet and good as it maybe it can't beat the rush and excitement when you see someone you fancy in a pub/club/supermarket and build up courage to go and say hi.

What are your experiences good, bad or funny of attempting to pull

I pulled in a hotel in France last year, I was with work and it was a colleague. We were sat in the bar in a large group and had been flirting a little; but initially wasn't sure it was going to go anywhere. His body language, and our comments were incredibly erotic, helped probably by the wine and being in a large group seemingly unaware, when he whispered his room number and suggested I gave him 10 minutes if I'd like to join him.

I'm not convinced moments like that can be replicated online, probably why we only do club meets.

I must admit I do have more respect for guys who can come up and chat you up tbh it’s a nice feeling way better than anything you can try replicate online

But this is the thing ive found contrary to what the OP is saying, when i was younger and out all the time on the pull, you’d be one of loads trying too hard and the girls would see you coming a mile off, through using fab alot not really bothered about pulling if i go out now just end up chatting to people more casually and then that works even better haha

That's exactly what I used to do, chatting casually is still a pulling technique

Pulling is the wrong word but you know what I mean.

A hot girl but up herself is always in my local and the guys always surround her which is pathetic but her mate who is a tomboy type is brilliant and we sit together and have a great time

It’s all about confidence ( or lack of it ) , and the internet gives those who aren’t very confident the opportunity to converse ( albeit through a screen ) , when they otherwise wouldn’t .

Anyway , going back to the experiences bit . Not so long ago we were in a local busy pub and there were two hot lads in their mid twenties waiting to be served . My wife went to get our drinks and started chatting with them , and I went to sit down . Five minutes later she arrived with the drinks , and said she was going for a cigarette . I was sat facing the outdoor smoking area and saw as she sat down the two lads join her . Theynall chatted and laughed for ten minutes or so then one lad leaned in and started snogging my wife . As he did the other lad who was sat the other side of her put his arm around her and the next thing I know , she is snogging him . They all got up and moved somewhere a bit quieter and carried on for a bit . Then she came over to me and said we were all off to quiet place to finish the fun , which we did , and I can honestly say it was one of our best nights out in a long time .

Somehow the fun always seems so much better with people who aren’t expecting it , like total strangers in a pub or club who you’ve never spoken to before . But it does take quite a bit of bottle to just go up to a stranger and start chatting him up .

A funny none planned night of fun was on a ferry to Sweden with a group of customers.

My mate was at the bar buying drinks for them and they were crowded behind him with me at the back.

An Australian girl was on a organised coach tour around Europe and Attis next to me as she couldn't get to the bar I asked her what she wanted and shouted the order to my mate.

A few minutes later he shouted who ordered the vodka and orange so I said yes. It got passed back to me and I gave it to the girl.

Long story short we spent the hot summers night on the deck of the ferry and then we went with her coach group.

Didn't have mobiles then to swap so I thought it was the end, she found out who my company was and called them when her coach made it to England and we met up a few times.

Still message her now in oz and ages happily married with kids.

The internet can't give you those moments

When I became single again I couldn’t get out so had to resort to online dating. Wouldn’t know how to chat anyone up now. And not sure I’d recognise If anyone was trying with me x

Well I’ve just had the pleasure of old school and what a refreshing change, instant chemistry and attraction coupled with amazing banter and has developed into something pretty wonderful

Oddly enough I have little problem meeting ladies in the real world. Unfortunately they all seem to be looking for life partners instead of just some mutual fun. It's online that I bomb out....

As I guy I’m completely hopeless at pulling. If only I had the same confidence as I do when I’m Claire. Strange I know.

Pixels will never entice me in the same way as just meeting someone face to face.

But that flirting thing...online or not....flashing eyes smiles the tingle... I remember the theory....

No problems pulling here other than being very selective x

I’m very good at pulling 85 year-old West Indian men in Brixton. I’ve been proposed to 3 times now. I AM LIVING THE DREAM.
