Just listening to a song and heard the lyrics....

'Shared a moment that will last till the end'

Have you had a brief moment with someone (not a partner or someone that you've been Ina relationship with) that you will remember till the end? Maybe just a brief conversation or even an exchange of glances, or a brief kiss?

There was this one girl I had the best night with for my 21st birthday... went to my first rave and we started talking in the air to get in... spent the entire night with her and went back to her hotel :P have only spoken once since but felt some sort of connection to her almost immediately. Is that the sort of thing your asking about ?

James Blunt on a Saturday night. And I thought MY lifestyle was rock n roll.

In answer to your question... yes. With a girl who’d briefly had an on off thing with my brother, actually. He’d briefly gone out with her when he lived in her town. He took me there to visit the place he’d lived/worked, and meet all his old friends. We were at a party on the Saturday night, and she and I exchanged glances over the campfire. That was 22 years ago, and I can still see her face. I would never do that to my brother, and I wouldn’t have met her without the connection through him, but it was one of those ‘in another life’ moments.

I know you said not our own exes, but I’ve had a few of them too; after a relationship is over, those moments where you’re in each other’s company and there’s still that bond between you, that moment where you hold each other’s gaze...

Much like Gordon Joseph Levitt in the wedding scene in 500 Days of Summer, though, you risk getting badly hurt if you read too much into it.

Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Truro

A moment im time I will always remember was when I was a rep driving up the a38 early in the morning from Plymouth.

My then boyfriend was sat on his superbike waiting for me to drive pass in a layby holding flowers and waving them around as I passed. He then followed me for a few miles driving along side my car blowing kisses and shouting I love you! then speeded off.

I love you Steve....sadly he passed away 2 years ago and was a great friend to me and my son. xx

God yes..... his name was Dink and I had fancied him for years.

We bumped into each other in a pub, we ended up having a drink and he asked me back for coffee where he then told me he'd always fancied me.

However at that time he had a girlfriend, and I had a boyfriend so it never happened......

But my god I have thought about it since!!!

Yes, a few years after my first wife died, I met someone that I had had a thing for for years at a wedding, I was a little d*unk and let it slip.

She shared my bed for one night
