Flirting in Sainsburys*

South Wales

*Other supermarkets are available.

There have been loads of stories in the media over the years about flirting in supermarkets. Apparently the aisles are great places to stumble across potential playmates/partners.

Do you flirt in the tinned fruit aisle? What techniques to you use? How can you tell if somebody fancies you?

My supermarket flirt was at the Morrisons salad bar . Up close and personal, cute smiles and he waited watching me before asking me for my number

I always seem to get chatted up in the local Asda, shame as they are usually around 80

I saw a stunning blonde in the supermarket. I said to her ‘Has anyone told you, you’re blocking the Dairylea lunchables!’

I once had a hot man smiling at me in Aldi. I was making eyes back when he walked past me and chatted to the woman behind me who he'd been smiling at.

There seems to be an unwritten rule about no eye contact at the checkout.

And a definite no-no to flirt with somebody choosing pile cream.

No.... Supermarkets stress me out. People just stop dead in front of you or in the middle of the aisle!

Oh.... Tell a lie. I did once get chatted up by a security guard in morrisons. We went for a drink then he tried it on and I panicked! I was a more innocent soul back then

Years ago, I used to go to the same stunning cashier. Then one time she put her number on the back of my receipt without me realising. The following week she said call her and her number was on the back of last week's receipt. Luckily I found it in the pile I'd not put through the shredder yet we had fun for a couple of months

Wouldn't you have seen her write it?
