It's one of the most inclusive threads and can be a hoot. Definitely a good place to start.

My other advice would be to just try them - see what happens.

Also, don't think just because you have a quim you'll get an easy ride. I didn't.

Can you tell her why you would encourage or discourage her from joining in here?

It's a fantastic place to chat to weirdos, and gorgeous people.

You get to read all sides of an opinion , and then tell them that yours is right.

Advice?

Avoid the cliques, until you get into one.

Seriously though I love the forums, constant source of amusement and company.

Just use them purely for entertainment purposes. Don't ever take it too seriously and don't let people offend or upset you.

Most of us are lovely, and enjoy the banter, fun and games.

Avoid the people who are just looking for arguments and the bitter, twisted and jealous people who are only here to knock others.

Oh and watch what you at or you'll get put on the naughty step...or if you're a sexy girl....over my knee and spanked

Well no one starts a thread and doesn't want it looked at so I assume we all are doing it in some way.

I try to start threads that encourage conversation and self reflection though, so I'm not exactly sure where he got the impression this was "another look at me" since this nor my other threads are about me, they just sometimes mention a thought or experience I've had which makes me question others and welcome their opinion or ideas.

I said she hasn't used them much, she has dipped in a couple of times but I really just wanted advice for anyone wanting to get more involved. The forums can be a bit daunting, a lot of people seem to do as she did and pop in, post on a couple of threads and then get a bit lost.
