People on holiday

I'm having a little rant, don't care what day it is.

What is the story with people on holiday, constantly writing status's about how much of a good time they are having, or constantly uploading photos of what watered down piss they happen to be drinking.

I've got a couple of people on my local updates banging on about how much of a good they are having abroad.

How can they be having a good time? From what I can tell, they haven't put there bastard phone down yet.

Holidays are for exploring the world with your eyes, not through a 4 inch screen.

Get a grip, knobheads!

I love them. Acts as the perfect filter to block them and their tragic updates and shitty Snapchat filters right outta my sight.

Feels like people use this a bit like facebook sometimes with their statuses

I am always ranting about this

Family bbq/meal/night in - with a pic of a bunch mardy faces all staring blankly at their phones.

Holiday - with a pic of food/alcohol daily same spot too busy facebooking to even leave the hotel!

We blog when we go away. We take pics/videos and post a little something about our days discoveries each evening as the kids are in bed.

The people back home encourage us to do it as they love seeing our adventures away, I think today’s tech can be a great thing.

I get what your saying op, but that ‘wish you were here’ thing, do you not think it’s a bit of that?

We don’t sit on our phones updating all day logging in everywhere we go, we use them as a journal.

I would be pretty pissed if a meet mid fuck updated their status the last thing on their mind should be their status!
