Hi just lately I've been seeing a lot of mini drone copters in Warrington where families are using them to get great photos and video shots .I'm wondering any of you used them in any of your outdoor adult fun or just used them to perv though Windows of local couples and females while flying them .

If some Muppet decided to fly any drone above me without my permission, if I could I'd shoot the thing down. End of problem@

We saw a guy flying one on the beach last year. He was hovering it over certain people. I think it's wrong and creepy.

If someone was found to be using one to photograph people inside their home I think they should have whatever the law can do thrown heavily at them.

I use a drone, but certainly not in the pursuit of adult fun or for perving on anyone, it's used entirely just to get nice footage and for the enjoyment of flying it and always within the parameters of the drone code.

Aren't drones tightly regulated or are they the bigger ones? Thought you needed a CAA license or something? Also think it might be slightly illegal to video people in their own houses/Gardens without their knowledge or consent.

I sometimes read forum posts and think honestly?! That's the thought that goes through your head?!

Voyeurism with consent can be fun.

Creeping on unsuspecting people especially in the privacy of their home is disgusting.

My company uses the larger models when shooting films of which two of my operators had to take a test for their commercial license. Non commercial devices don’t need licenses but I know the CAA would like to change this.

There are regulations, based upon the weight of the drone, if you are getting payed in one form or another, but most are covered as recreational use but there is a code to follow. However even for example if someone is following the code and they become aware of a complaint they should really respect the complainant and terminate the flight, there is no point in antagonising people. For example I was flying a drone getting some footage of an old viaduct (yes boring I know) I was well within the code but there was some people walking along the viaduct, in this case they pointed and waved at the drone ( in a friendly way) then carried on walking, if they had made a complaint I would have been within my rights to ignore and carry on as I was in compliance with the code, however if they'd made a complaint then I'd have landed and terminated the flight purely out of manners. Unfortunately there are knobbers out there as there are in every walk of life who take the piss.

My son has just compleated a course with the army that allows him to fly drones.

He bought his own one. He took photos a mates wedding last month and the pictures were really good as its frkm a totally different angle.

I dont tbink i have the dexterity to fly one but i can definitely see the advantages.
