"...played by millionaire mercenaries for billionaire foreign owners, there’s no loyalty in football anymore. True ?" As apposed to earlier times of footballers being basically a slave owned by a football club ? Where the club could sell him to who ever they wanted and/or even prevent him playing if the club did not release his Registration. Get real. There’s never really been loyalty in football. Not by club owners, managers or footballers. Those that do have loyalty are the very very very small percentage.

"...played by millionaire mercenaries for billionaire foreign owners, there’s no loyalty in football anymore. True ?" Yes. And no. Terry, Gerrard, Carragher, Shearer and players like them have proved their loyalty over and over again. They're not all like that, manoeuvring for a better deal, refusing to play unless they get the transfer they want. Billionaire owners showing no loyalty to the people they hire......
