Obviously it's fondly remembered by Liverpool fans but in reality Milan could have scored 7 or 8 that night. A better way of looking at it would be to compare the teams side-by-side. Dudek vs Karius - fairly evens Traore vs Robertson - errr... Hyppia vs Van Dijk - Sami shades it for me but it's bloody close Carra vs Lovren - Carra Finnan vs TAA - Finnan Alonso vs Henderson - Alonso Gerrard vs Wijnaldum - Gerrard Riise vs Milner - Milner, but it's not exactly a like-for-like comparison so let's chuck Hamann in the mix, who wins Luis Garcia vs Firmino - Firmino Kewell/Smicer vs Mane - Mane Baros vs Salah - hmmmm... Tbh if Liverpool win it then it's not like they won't have deserved it (I'm almost choking on my own words  ). Goals galore, beaten some decent teams along the way, and managing to get through to a CL final with that defence is some achievement in itself!
Madrid are beatable. Bayern wasted chance after chance in the semi and if the same Real turn up for the final then Liverpool will win. If the "real" Real turn up then (IMO) they're a better team and they should win. But you can't discount a team with a front 3 of Salah, Firmino & Mane.

Everything pretty much fell into place for Liverpool in the knockout stages. Great performance to beat City but Barca losing to Roma, coupled with Real drawing Bayern opened the door ajar and it's a great chance missed if Liverpool don't complete the job.

Tbh if Liverpool win it then it's not like they won't have deserved it (I'm almost choking on my own words ). Goals galore, beaten some decent teams along the way, and managing to get through to a CL final with that defence is some achievement in itself!
Madrid are beatable. Bayern wasted chance after chance in the semi and if the same Real turn up for the final then Liverpool will win. If the "real" Real turn up then (IMO) they're a better team and they should win. But you can't discount a team with a front 3 of Salah, Firmino & Mane.
Not sure I want to watch the game in case Liverpool win but it should be a classic!
