Hi all.

For the last week or so I've been going to bed around 11/midnight which is pretty normal for me, but I've been waking up anywhere around 2/3am and I cannot for the life of me get back to sleep.

I have made a few changes in my life in the last week, such as I'm eating healthy and exercising daily but I don't see how these would make me lose sleep.

Anybody else gone through a similar phase?

It's the witching hour. Sounds odd but google it. I had it for about 3 months after I lost my mum. My friend told me about it. I don't normally believe in that kind of stuff but I followed that advice and I mainly sleep through now

Brighton - even Hove!

Do you have a bed time routine? You can train your body and mind. What is waking you up?

It’s when most people die....in their sleep. It’s when your body is at its most vulnerable.

Television - the blue light emitted can have a detrimental effect on sleep. Try no tv and read a book instead for a couple of hours before bed.

We are both having the same dramas. The earlier we go to bed, the less we sleep.

The later we go to bed the more we want to!

It’s really annoying isn’t it.

"Exercise is causing it id bet"

Did you ever have that problem?

You'd think exercise would cause more sleep

Any stresses or worries mulling round your head. Exercise if its later at night could have upset your sleeping patterns,or eating later?

southend

My Fitbit always tells me off if I exercise too close to going to bed. Supposed to leave a few hours between exercise and sleep.

It could be I'm exercising quite late but thats because its the only time I can fit it in.

I'm not doing much tonight so I'll do it earlier and see what difference it makes

Thank you both
