Simple things that make you smile

Good evening Friends Fabbers and Forumites.

Sat in the garden with good music good wine and pooch , the best company .

We are just back from a beautiful sunset walk .

We sat and watched as the burning embers of the day sank in to a mirror sea . The sky was a beautiful crimson , the carneddu mountains bathed in a soft pink .

These are the simple things that make me smile .

So what are the simple things that make you smile and feel contented

Taff and Pooch xx

My Ice Castle! South Wales

Hearing children laugh.

The smell of rain on a hot day

A phone from my bessie to make me laugh.

A cwtch off my niece's.

My dogs excited greeting

When I get home, take my socks off, ball them up and throw them up the stairs, through the open door of the spare room and directly into the laundry basket.

It happens about 1/10 times.

#Legend.

Stoke area

Getting to the bottom of the washing basket.

The sunset this evening.

Setting off in my camper van with music playing, knowing I have some relaxing days ahead.

Finding out that my son is going to be on TV and it's Homes Under the Hammer, not Crimewatch

Each day I go to work, I park my car and have walk a 5 min journey from the car park around a lake. It’s there I received my final phone call from my father before he passed away.. those 5 mins ALWAYS makes me think of him with a cherished smile.

Watching my kids laughing where they begin to cry. Or my youngest farts, but you get what I mean.

Kids really do have such an honest laugh when they’re young, it’s contagious.

'tween PontyCarlo & CasVegas in West Yorks

My big girl looking amazingly happy on a video chat from Istanbul where shes living for a few months.

My lil girl actually revising for her GCSEs! Never thought she would turn things around after such an awfully rocky few teenage years!

My neighbours 8 yr old son who talks to me like hes a 90 year old yorkshire bloke

Two young brothers who play footy out back every weekend and i hear the oldest teaching his lil bro how to kick the ball and catch in goals, so bloody adorable when he praises him and encourages him

Old folk holding hands

My late Mums photograph on my bedroom windowsill...she smiles at me every morning and gives me the strength to keep going
