South Californian Sea Otter.

They wrap themselves into the sea kelp and flat about in the Pacific, napping and mating.

Whenever they get hungry they unwrap themselves and swim to the bottom of the Kelp for food.

Then back up, rewrap, more dozing in the sun.

If one can fend off four male lions for twenty minutes i'd probably be dead in two.

Fun fact when a honey badger is facing an animal bigger thsn itself. It attacks the genitals, especially the big balls variety

Do we get to chose I wonder, knowing my luck I would come back as whatever the otter ate, and that would be that.

I don't think so. In Hinduism I think you get sort of audited and they decide what form you get based on what you need to learn and how good you've been in previous lives.

It's like an online "What career is best" survey for the soul.

Think Sea Otters is like an A++ reward. Salmon probably being the worst.
