stourbridge area

... ive had to turn it off .....all the celebrities ....praising the Nhs ..

Paul ogrady .... prince William ....martin sheen .... ELTON JOHN etc...... im sorry but have any of them had to wait in a queue....at A&E , wait. On a trolley for hours....or for an operation .....of course not .....They pay private. .... hypocrites all of them .

Perhaps what you don't realise, is that the NHS is available to them, should they need it.

you can take that back about Martin Sheene, he was in our hospital last month visiting sick people and talking to the staff, without any media! Top bloke!

Feel free to pay private or go to another country for your care

Our NHS is amazing, the staff that work over their hours m, that give up free time to cover sickness. That work Christmas to care for people. Yes it's over run because of arseholes that abuse the system. But that's the systems fault not the staff or the NHS as a whole

The NHS is a wonderful institution unfortunately it's often let down by the politicians and the people they employ to run it. But, what I don't agree with is these such programmes, just pr stunts.

I’m like a wrung out dischcloth watching it, I keep having a little tear, the stories of those that have needed help are very touching, as are those of the staff and public that are striving to make the NHS, better. What is not to be admired about the jobs these people do, so worthwhile, often in tough circumstances and that have a massive impact on many, many people’s lives?

To be honest the celebrities hadn’t really figured in it for me, but there is nothing to say that they can’t show appreciation for a service and those that work for it, that is available to them, should they need it.

Of course it has its faults, as does anything, but this is an opportunity to celebrate the good

The staff are wonderful .... I agree ..but the celebrities ....

When will they ever use the NHS ... except an ambulance....

They need to do a months work in an Nhs hospital and see whats its like really ... working when its Christmas ....bank holidays and short staffed ... no doctors around ....figures fiddled.... but fat cats meeting targets ..... so being paid big fat bonuses .....

It’s nice to be appreciated for a change. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve had patients and relatives shouting in my face, even spitting at me. Thankfully the nice comments from the majority of the grateful patients remind you why you carry on.

Remember... Some of the arsehole abusers are at the top of the DoH
