Slough Windsor ish

I've hat a HCH piercing for 28 years, just over the last few days it has become uncomfortable... bordering on painfull. A really sore, pinching pain. I've had the mirror out for a look and it would seem its growing out all of a sudden. Like its being rejected. Is this common? Ive tried Google and theres no advice beyond initial aftercare really.

Anyone knowledgable out there? Think Im going to have to remove it if the pain continues which will be sad

My body suddenly rejected my tongue piercing after 10 years think your best bet is to remove it as there’s nothing to stop it being rejected

Maybe it's not exactly rejection. Many piercings can have a tendency to migrate.

Maybe best to take it out,let it heal and re-do it. Couple of weeks and you should be back to how it was.

Leeds + Newcastle

If you can start to see the dark shadow of the bar moving up to the surface of the skin it's through, it's time to retire it!

Sounds like migration to me. I'd recommend going to see your piercer to remove it before it cheesewires out. You can always get it repierced deeper.
