Comments on another thread- some men in couples say they don't bother putting pics on their profile because people only Fab the woman's pics and not theirs.

Question for everyone, not just couples:

Do you put pics on your profile for an ego boost? If people don't Fab them does it upset you?

Would you be happier if you had no pics on show - like those men in couples?

I never even thought that’d come up as a reason why somecouple profiles don’t have male pictures.

I wouldn’t be bothered. I do sometimes check and if I see a Fab from a fellow woman - that means more to me. Absolutely nothing wrong with those who really enjoy getting lots of Fabs though.

On the other hand....makes me very happy when I do.

I don't think I've ever actively requested fans and don't think I ever would. I fab pics because they either pique my interest or cause a trouser tingle.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest if they don't - sure it's nice to have an appreciation of my pics by way of Fabs but if one doesn't get any I just take it as a sign that it's not as good a pic as I thought and either relegate it to friends only or delete it altogether.

Don't understand why people and particularly the category you describe would get worked up about it either - it's well known that women get a lot more fabs than men anyway because of the balance of numbers here

My husbands pics rarely get fabbed, and that’s ok. He doesn’t mind it because that’s just what this site is like. He doesn’t have a 16 inch photoshopped cock, and he doesn’t have a stupidly over the top gym fit body. He also doesn’t show his face. So he understands that to women on here, there’s nothing to fan as such. His pics on our couples profile and his single profile rarely get any attention but my pics regularly get to the top spot on hot pics.

It’s just one of those things. C x

I put pics up that I feel a little bit sexy in. It’s always nice to get Fabs (who doesn’t like a wee bit of attention now and again?) but I would never beg for them, that makes me cringe. Also if they didn’t get Fabbed I wouldn’t be crying about it.

I enjoy posting pics and it makes me smile if they get fabbed but as another said it’s not the be all and end all.

H thought it was proper funny that his lay bollock naked in the snow got more fabs than my snowy one did ... and our best fabbed pic was of me blowing him ... he said it was all because of his dick showing a little in the pic

.... I certainly like it when the pics are being taken

I changed my pics to be unfabable. I very rarely get my pics fab'd. The only time I get female fabs is during the odd fab it thread on the forums. I have probably had more men than women fab my pics. Although saying that, out of the four pics i have on my profile, they probably haven't even received 20 fabs in total!! So I don't bother now with it. No fun when a pic gets fab'd, you think cool, might be a nice sexy fabbette but no! Just another straight fabber!

As the wife said, nah doesn’t fuss me. I’m used to people perving over her and not me, and that’s fine. My pics are on our profile, and also on my singles profile, so it’s not like they don’t exist. Plus, we send face pics anyway.

As somebody else just said I do get more men fabbing my pics than women. Again, that’s fine. Glad I can raise something, be it a smile or somebody else’s bits! Haha! G

I guess everyone's experience is going to be slightly different as we're all slightly different.

There are pics of me and us because we understand that females need to like both of us. And when we look for couples, the same applies for us.

Then again, I'm under no illusions who the draw is - we've had more than one "we'll meet with you... but not with him" message before. And the rare fab is usually when a single male fabs *all* our pics in a bid to get our attention (we've blocked them as we're not looking for them).

Am I bothered? Not particularly - it's how life works, and nothing I can do is going to change that. And while we may not be everyone's cup of tea, as long as we're someone's... And ultimately, I'm a lucky guy even if everyone else turns out to prefer coffee!

Yes we have had that several times, couples contact us looking for a couple, then suddenly it’s “we just want the woman”, and then “my woman can’t play will you meet”. We have rarely had a few people comment and say they don’t like G, which is fine. People all have different tastes after all. But it’s the was some people say it that’s bad. G is a good looking, good bodied, well endowed guy who likes to laugh, smells bloody amazing, and isn’t up himself. So nah, their loss

with couples profiles I find the pics are mostly of the lady.

if there is any photos on there its mostly cock pics.

some couples do shared pics but not many do this.

female couple profiles usually have more together photos than of single photos of themselves

its nice to have some pics fabed by users as I usually pic the ones I like so fab those the most.

There's no denying that I do like it when I see my pics get a fab. But it's never many anyway and there can be weeks without any one fingering them. So I suppose I'm not actually adversely effected by them not being fabbed.

Not that bothered but most of my fab's are from men or TV's anyway which is kinda depressing!

Like someone else said, I'm not hung like a donkey or ripped like a pro sportsman and I don't wear suits so not much chance of getting a fab in all honesty!

I allow my handful of pics to be fabbed to check now and then who fabbed them. I don't get a boost from them being fabbed. There's never been a time on here a pic hasn't been fabbed, so I don't know if it would bother me.

I only put a few up to give men an idea of my body shape and size.

Lets be honest...we put pics on our profiles as an advertisement of ourselves, so of course if they get a fab we feel it's a good thing, right? BUT i, like lots seem to feel as well, don't live or die by my pic getting fab'd and do feel that those "asking"/"begging" for fab's seem somewhat needy. Just a humble opinion.

I put my pictures up because I like them and want to put them where I hope some others will like them too. I may get frowned upon if I put them on other social media sites.

I post quite a lot of pics because I'm incurably vain and have quite an exhibitionist streak in me. And I get a kinky thrill from the thought of people enjoying my pics and feeling horny over them. I'm also quite insecure about myself at the same time so, yes I love fabs.

If there were no fabbing option I'd still have a variety of pics so that people know what I look like and I would keep them up to date, but there wouldn't be the same sense of pleasure from it.

Myself, I'll sometimes fab pics because I like a person's profile. It's not always about the actual photo.

Agree with this, I enjoy taking pics, regardless of wether they get fabbed or not, it is nice have some fabs and does make me feel good, but not the be all and end all, comments and messages mean far more than a quick fab.

Always enjoy having a look at others though, and if I like it I stick a fab on it, if I really like I’ll send a message to say so!

We switched our fabs off. We have no pics worthy of fabbing and very rarely bother fabbing anyone else.

I think fabs are just like little gentle ego strokes for those who need them. Really don't like to see anyone begging for them, just seems a tad desperate.

If there were no fabbing option I'd still have a variety of pics so that people know what I look like and I would keep them up to date, but there wouldn't be the same sense of pleasure from it.

Myself, I'll sometimes fab pics because I like a person's profile. It's not always about the actual photo.

So mostly for an ego boost. I don't see ego boosting as a bad thing though, it's nice to feel good.

Good point, I wonder if that's why men in couples don't get many Fabs. Seems to be mostly men that run the couples profiles so they will just be Fabbing the woman's pics.

If there were no fabbing option I'd still have a variety of pics so that people know what I look like and I would keep them up to date, but there wouldn't be the same sense of pleasure from it.

Myself, I'll sometimes fab pics because I like a person's profile. It's not always about the actual photo.

So mostly for an ego boost. I don't see ego boosting as a bad thing though, it's nice to feel good.

I eventually put minimal pics on for my own enjoyment, some have received Fabs from friends. I only realised when it was pointed out to me. I think maybe I’ve got the whole pic thing all wrong as I have them for my benefit not to attract others.

I think the importance of pics and Fabs is a personal thing, validation from others via Fabs is of no significance to me. However I appreciate that it can be uplifting for some. I don’t understand how requesting Fabs is beneficial. Ppl fabbing as the person has requested Fabs is false flattery surely? I don’t think there is anything wrong in asking for Fabs but I don’t understand how the person gains anything from it

I used to think asking for Fabs was sad but I changed my mind. I see it as just asking people if they like their pic. Same could be said for posting in the forum. It's just a form of advertising. For some it will get them onto Hot Pics and that will generate more interest in their profile. For others it will be an ego boost similar to the Kim Kardashians of this world that post pics for attention. If I was hot I'd be posting pics.

I imagine it feels nice to be liked.

For the first few years on here we were guilty of loving the fact that so many people liked our pics . We even got the top fabbed a few times .

For the past four years we stopped giving a fuck because all our pics were posted on a porn site without us knowing . That made us realise it was daft to have our face pics on here in public , and the better known you are the more likely your pics are gonna be nicked and posted elsewhere .

I've taken down all but one pic, they were up to encourage people to contact you, but I loved the ego boost of being fabbed, to the point where if someone didn't fab them, I'd feel put out.
