obviously after being in hospital and having an op... I have been told to basically do "nothing" for the next week...

There is only basically so much of "nothing" that I can do....

so how good are you at basically "turning off"

no sexy nurses and no making me laugh!!!!

Get well soon Fabio!

There is only so much day time television that one can bear watching.

Holiday planning, designing my dream home, participating in forums such as FAB, walking dog, cooking etc., are my general favourite wastes of times.

Have fun and relax!

Have you noticed that when people get caught doing something naughty, they always say they were doing "nothing"?

So if I were you I would be as naughty as possible!

they don't mean nothing, silly, they mean nothing strenuous. Ever thought of crossword puzzles, reading books, making jewellery (it's addictive mind). When I was hospitalised for a long time I made soft toys out of old clothes, sewn by hand and went and chatted to others on the ward.

I have plenty of DVDs of films I would like to see that have not even been opened, so if I were ill, I have plenty of films to choose from.

I so hope you recover soon- me I am going crazy..I am so not cut out to do nothing!

When I am well sometimes on a day off I can do nothing all day and be content, but not being able to do anything is driving me mad... I even rang the tax office this morning I was so bored I thought i'd actually reply to them!

I'm a master at doing nothing,i'm a lazy bastard.Although when i'm at work or in the bedroom i'm the complete opposite Otherwise I can quite happily spend hours reading a good book or playing ps3 online, catching up on my favourite programmes,surfing/perving the web and other such shite.

see.. i am still a get up and do-er so to speak... so being told to do "nothing" is just so enforced....

saying that... chippy is up the road, i think i have an excuse not to cook...

I figure walking there about back would probably be a good 20 minutes...
