Are they really worth going by?

Depends. For me I generally tend to look at them like they prove someone is real, especially women and couples.

I don't tend to judge people by them though, the connection and experience they have with people they have met won't necessarily be the same as the one I'd encounter.

We use them as a guide, we view their profiles and those who have verified them.

If there's an "Eek" within them its usually a no thank you from us.

I'm still trying to learn the "sucks like a Dyson" technique, once I've cracked that I shall be demanding verifications galore!!

It is helpful to see that someone has had at least a couple of meetings on their profile, it suggests they are less likely to be a complete time waster. But they are little use to assess what a person is like as even rubbish meetings get a polite verification message.

Never judge somebody based on their verifications but do look at recent posts as they give an indication of if the person is genuine and if they are currently active anybody with a latest verification over 12 months old we are unlikely to meet.

Thats a shame, not that we would be looking to meet you being too far, but we have had numerous meetings since the last verification on our profile but just haven't bothered with feedback.

Live a little, judge people on how they come across via their messages and the conversation you have with them goes, some folks only meet via a social first, we don't, we dont have the time for socials, so we judge on how they come across..we are quite happy to meet people without verifications..We can not remember the last time we had a bad meet by judging people on how they come across by messages only .. they could have hundreds of verifications, but might not come across as suitable for us in the way they come across via messages, and that works the other way too via a social meet first,They could be fantastic via messages and have great verifications, but be a bit of a tool once you meet them, so that's a wasted few hours in a social meet..It's just about gut feeling mostly and how it works for you..but you have to take a chance on somebody at some point

People only tend to say nice things.

And let's be fair if they didn't, you wouldn't display them.

I often find that some guys see it as a way to really big themselves up.

"I had her gushing like a burst water pipe!" Was one i saw.

In all seriousness I go by everything.

If the pics are nice, the write up stimulating and the verifications back them up it's all good.

I read them; as others have said, you can usually gauge if people are genuine but I do read both sides.

It does leave me wondering why some of my meets rave over some of their meets and mine tend to be less so. Wondering if it’s something I don’t have that others do or something I don’t give that others do.

With the best will in the world I’m not the youngest, tallest or skinniest but I don’t think I give any less than another female during playtime - differently perhaps... hey ho ...

Yes I read them,to get an idea of the type of person they are and meet.

They are not the be all and end all though, I take other things into account too.

They are just a guide.

Just a simple guideline that they are who they profess to be.

Tend to avoid ones with obsessive stalker type verifications. Can't be doing with the potential drama

I have verifications but I choose not to show them, nor do I show the summary.

I want potential meets to "judge" me on the interaction between me and him ... And they've all worked out well for me so far

A world all of his own

As a means to prove that the person is "real", I guess they serve a purpose.

Beyond that? No, I don't pay any attention to them really. Do people leave bad verifications? And if they did, would someone display them...?

If we have a choice of agreeing to a meet with a well verified member , or a non verified ( or showing none ) member , we would choose the well verified every time , assuming they were similar looking etc.....

Verifications definitely help me identify if I want to meet a person; for one they tell me who that person gets on with, what they have in common with other etc.

I tend to read between the lines in verifications, eg are the verified people sociable or gang bang or club fans etc.

Veris are part and parcel of an image, as is a well written profile.
