I've really fallen off the exercuse and diet wagon! I've put almost all of the 2 stone I lost a couple of years ago back on and am very behind on my training for RideLondon!

Was meant to go swimming this morning but am lying on bed and have missed the adult swim now!

Give me a virtual kick up the backside!

Is exercuse an excuse not to exercise ? If not it should be

I'm the same.ilosr loads in 2016 but due to my own living hell I put 4 stone back on in 2017.

I'm now on point with my diet and loosing weight but I can't get motivated to get back in the gym.

Not my place to kick yours or anyone's ass.

If you want it enough if you believe in it enough if it means enough to you, then no matter how difficult it may sometimes be....

You will just do it.

But I'm asking you nicely to do it

Due to two Fab friends I’m goung to aqua aerobics with one one Monday and starting weightwatchers next week.

It’s easier if you have someone to motivate you. Find an exercise buddy.

Today is a new day. Day 1 of your exercise regime. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Be positive and make today count. Have a fruit smoothie not a fry up!

Let us know how you get on x

Ok... here's my kick up the backside (I do like kicking butt so any excuse)!

You've done it before. You can do it again. I've been on the weight loss wagon since October. It's been bloody hard work but I think I stuck at it this time because I'm really motivated. I really want this. That's what you need to find. Your motivation. Why do you want to do this?

it’s Sunday and it’s sunny. Treat today as your last day of freedom and start the new week as you mean to continue. I (Mr) decided I was 1-2 stone too heavy a month ago, I’ve eaten better, dragged my sorry arse out of bed 3 times a weeek to go r7nning ( done it 7am this morning) , hate every second of it but am persevering as I’ve lost nearly a stone already. We also have a sex event planned later in year and we both want to be in good shale for this, so that’s a motivator. Good luck Evie and be draconian on yourself, trust me!!

East Sussex

We swim two or three times a week and I use the static bike and do a combination of yoga and pilates.

Just before we went away a bit over a week ago we were so busy we didn't do any of that. We've been back since Wednesday and still haven't . It's so easy to get out of the habit.

Just do one thing. Go for a run or a power walk. It'll start to get you back on track. Seeing this thread has reminded me to get back in the saddle so to speak...

Get to it, if you do, so will I

The trouble with that approach is that it isn't sustainable over a long period. I haven't deprived myself of anything and have still lost 3 stone. I did reach a plateau and that was when I started exercising. It's made a huge difference and I'm now losing again. I swim and do zumba and hula hooping with a bit of yoga now and then. I don't enjoy any other form of exercise so I don't bother as I know I wouldn't stick at it.
