Maybe this is because I'm a non-smoker but I find it really off putting seeing people smoking on cam.. Especially women with one hanging out of the side of there gobs puffing away

Don't get me wrong, I understand that some people have the habit and don't find it easy or don't want to quit.

What are your thought on this?

Well I don't go on cam but it wouldn't offend me if I saw someone smoking on cam, as it doesn't really when I talk to someone who is smoking. I have never smoked, that's my choice and I'm not really bothered about other peoples choices.

I must admit to being a little fascinated when people talk with a cigarette hanging out their mouths. I'm always wondering how they do it, it seems to be out the side, people must have wetter lips at the side or the cigarette must stick to womens lipgloss. I like the way they talk whilst not opening their mouths very much and I always laugh when the cigarette falls out and it goes on their clothes and they frantically brush it off, usually saying 'oh fuck'.

I assume on cam they are typing so they can't hold the cigarette, I'd propbably laugh if they were wanking whilst having a cigarette in the other hand

So now someone can't smoke in their own house without someone else logging on remotely, and when taking a peek at their cam for some sort of sexual thrill and finding it's a smoker smoking in their own home, proceed to start a thread condemning them for it.

Aren't smokers safe from anyone, anywhere?

We both smoke don't go on cam that often but when we do we both will have a cig now if that means we put some people off then so be it because just as we have the option to click off a cam we don't want to watch they have the option to as well. It's a great thing having and using choices

well just saying we had a massive debate a few days ago on smoking, surrounding blahhblahhblahh everything, think all that can be said really is, choose to smoke or dont be respectful to either party dont condescend anyones choices no matter if they conflict with urs.We are starting to see threads where people really are showing themselves to look rather pathetic...maybe we can nip these in the bud....cos it really isnt impressive....in fact I dont even wanna start a thread about that...as i know it'd gather pathetic responses eventually lol

I was quietly sitting in front of comp,in the chat room and my cam happened to be switched on. Someone else decided to click on the cam icon next to our username. We never asked them to,it was entirely their own decision. I happened to be smoking a cigarette,not drowning a puppy or microwaving a cat,just smoking a fag.This disgusting and distressing incident caused the viewer so much anguish it necessitated a thread about it.

The viewee however hadn't even noticed they'd looked

What if someone clicked on your cam and found something you were doing not to their liking? Would they make a forum issue out of it or just move on?

I would defend anyones right to open a thread on any subject at all. They give their views and ask for the views of others. I might not agree with their views but isnt that half the point? I think that sometimes people (especially regular posters on the forums) lose sight of the fact that it doesnt belong to them and it isnt here like their msn or fb, more for anyone on the site to exchange views or ask for advice.

You don't venture into the chatrooms, you voiced your opinion, we all accept your ideas of what should be done in certain situations.

Maybe we should all take a leaf out of your book and be an armchair expert on subjects we can only imagine to be right.

This is where the other thread about opinions comes into play because I really should step away but sod it I'm not going to. You asked for peoples thoughts on an open forum , now from most of the posts I have read they all tend to agree with the thought if you don't like watching someone smoke on can dont watch. You then said if don't like thread then don't posts , to me this is saying please only post if you have the same thought as me and don't like it. If this is the case then maybe don't post on subjects that you know will have negative input, if however this is not the case then accept that there will be negatives and allow people to post their own thoughts gracefully.
