My family hail from County Kildare originally, I've been over to visit many times and found Irish men to be much the same as all men, just witha mildly pleasing accent.

I'm with the poster who said Irish men are like other nationality men with a slightly pleasing accent (that's not to say some other nationality's accents aren't pleasing either
