Someone walking up the hallway to my door, I wonder where they’re going?

Oh, a knock on the door, that’s what I can hear. Heavy breathing too, and the click of a revolver’s safety catch.

The crackling and spitting of flames at the fire side...in distance can hear voices from camp site, an owl hoots over the darkness
