Winning exciting is the traditional Utd philosophy since Matt Busby instilled it . Fergie understood this , Jose needs to get it too .

And it makes it even worse having to endure City and all their new found guilty hunting fans playing exciting, free flowing Football. Foitballers are pampered tarts these days and how I yearn to see old school players like Keane, Adams, (god forbid even Souness) laying into team-mates when they're not pulling their weight. Fans just can't associate with these fannies on £100k a week, wearing pink boots and spending half the match rolling around on the floor or playing with their hair!

Agreed, but those days are long gone, even the lower league stuff is ridiculous these days "I'm a ST holder at quite a well known (due to their owners!) non-league club. A couple of teams in the division we were in last year were almost at a Premier League level in feigning injury and trying to get our players sent off. It's cringeworthy. I think it should be compulsory for every football team to play a pre-season rugby match against their local Rugby League/Union team so they can see what real pain feels like. | |||

I'm a ST holder at quite a well known (due to their owners!) non-league club. A couple of teams in the division we were in last year were almost at a Premier League level in feigning injury and trying to get our players sent off. It's cringeworthy. Years ago when he was the coach at St Helens . Alex Murphy offered Vinnie Jones a game in the A team . Murphy said it would help Jones vent some of his anger and would help in his football disciplinary record . He never took the offer . I wonder why ....the supposedhardmen of football are nothing of the sort . | |||

He is doing the same with pogba now, turning him into a team player and coaching the flair out. I guess it depends where u sit with it all but i would rather win stuff ugly, maybe I’m in the minority | |||

"I’d take success over youth development any day. Jose is a winner, he didn’t win yesterday but his record speaks for itself. United are far better now that they have been since fergie left. I have seen my team win a European cup, despite playing terribly and I can honestly say I didn’t care less. My team lost a European cup final despite playing far better than they did when they won one, no one remembers how well u played, only the winners of the cup True nobody remembers runners up... but I can’t help feeling what would rashford and martial , shaw be like under guardeola?hopefully we will see rashford shine at the World Cup and the shaw thing maybe you know more than me about that but as an outsider sounds like Jose has crushed the life out of the lad my opinion on Jose he seems very vindictive going back to his treatment of the Chelsea doctor but he’s a winner but in his own way my argument with the big name managers out there is let them manage at a club like ours and out of the two Jose and pep I’d take Jose as he’s won things with average sides Porto etc etc pep well he had messi and Bayern well they win everything domestically Well let’s hope we’re not coming home at the group stages . Otherwise I’ll be crying in that armchair
