Stealth perving in real life

There's a post ongoing about perving people on here in stealth mode vs letting people know you've been checking them out...

How about in real life. If you like the look of someone - do you let them know you're checking them out? If someone blatantly checks you out, do you mind?

Stealth perving? Sunglasses and excellent peripheral vision help. It does look a bit odd on a rainy day in costa though
