Talk, every time. I dont like sending more than a few texts to one person at a time. Think its cause i have to much to say

Text, I hate talking on the phone unless it's with really close friends or family, then I set aside time to talk to them.

Talking in person, love spending time with friends, i think people get caught up too much in the virtual world....if its not possible to spend time with them a chat on the phone is always nice

Depending on who it is we use both but phone calls are always more personal.

Rarely text, except with Sharon....

Home at ??? maiden..

A conversation tells me so much more about the person...and I find communicating with text almost impossible..

texting is ok just exchanging messages but you can't beat chatting face to face and watching someone's expressions, reactions etc

Talk, but preferably face to face, tend to be very brief when I chat on the phone.

i dont mind either but depends who its to

if its real life friends and family i'll talk but i dont like talking to people off here unless i know them well as i never know what to say to a stranger

saying that its very rare i give out my number to people off here, ive met lots of people ive never given my number to

We went out for a drink last weekend (just the two of us) the table next to us had 6 people (three couples) and everyone of them had there phones out texting for the whole time we were in there. It really is beyond me why they bother going out but I guess this is the way of the world now.

i know its slightly different but i met a guy not so long back, we met in a pub and just after we met he called another woman up from off the site, sat talking to her for about 15/20 mins then when the conversation had finished carried on sending text to her while inbetween the callsand text telling me all about her and how hes hoping to meet her soon

i just thought what was the point in meeting me if all you want to do is call, text and talking about some other meet your hoping to get

was just a total waste of a night for both of us

yeah mobile are handy but theres a time and a place and when your out, be it as the above poster has put for a meal with friends or on a meet its not really appropriate to sit text playing text tennis with others

some need to realise the world wont stop if they go a night without using their phone
