i'l put this out there for you lot; i've fucked up my life, and can't get myself out of this hole and sort my overdraft out. I have got into a real bad place. My gender dysphoria has come back to the surface so bad that I can't go on. I can't carry on living like this. Bye

I'm always in my overdraft apart from one day a month where it's in credit for like a day! I've got an agreement with Barclays that they reduce it by £50 on the 25th of each month.

You must be feeling like it all is too much right now, but if you reach out there are people waiting who will offer you support, it can feel a lot better once you have given people a chance to help you.

Please get to your doctor or call someone so they can help you get back on track.

1- it's just money, they can't have what you haven't got and generally if you speak to the bank will try and find a suitable arrangement

2- no. It's not the end, don't be selfish. Talk to someone about how you feel. Think of those around you, the aftermath of your actions.

3- Call someone to support you!

It's a phase, one that you can get through. Find the right people to talk too and dig deep. You can tough it out.

If things have gotten that bad, look into filing for bankruptcy, it would take the financial pressure out of the equation. It's not a brilliant thing to have to do but plenty of people do. I think I read somewhere that Peter Jones from Dragons den has been bankrupt several times before he finally sorted his life out financially.

Go and seek help about your gender dismorphia. Keep pushing yourself forward. There are lots of positive role models out there in the trans world, some may have even written books sharing their highs and lows...it will give you something you can relate to!

Never give up op!

I will pull no punches as its not as easy as most will tell you on here due to cutbacks in council budgets...but your first port of call has to be your GP followed by the citizens advice for your financial matters.

Hopefully your GP will refer you to other agencies that are still operating.

But you can also refer yourself to "Mind" who I know from a family member they are a huge support. But you have to make them first steps....posting on here is one thing but you need to act on advice given.

I hope you do

I sympathise with your concerns OP, but why do you feel that here would be your first port of call to get some advice?

Please get an emergency appointment with your Dr, let them help you.

Financial stuff can be sorted, contact Stepchange and ask for help/advice.

But the most important thing is you and your emotional wellbeing. Please speak to your Dr.

I don't think it matters why! People do strange things when under huge amounts of stress! It might not be the first port of call for most of us when things are that bad and I hear what you are saying but, this was their first port of call. They have been given some good advice which I hope they take on board. They have been given empathy which, it sounds like they need. Why here? Makes no odds really!

My life came off the rails in a big way a few years ago and it lasted for a fair while. In the end I sought spiritual guidance as I was so at a loss with everything. The message I got back was that I needed to be more patient, that I was half way through a big transformation and, being in the middle, it seemed chaotic and painful, but that if I just let it complete itself I'd be in a much better place in my life than I was before. Since then things have indeed got much better.

Trust in the universe. This change is leading you to a better place in your life. One where you are free of your debts and where your gender issues are resolved in a way that feels good for you and accepted by others around you. Let the transition take you there. Don't jump off half way through.
