For those of you who get to choose your cars, what are you driving?

I’m due renewal and considering something with electric capability for the tax reduction, and as a bonus, there are some seriously nice motors available in the electric category.

Keen to know what you do?

Is it the looks that appeal you or the reliable British engineering

I have colleagues who have various Jags and they’re split in opinion, however I quite like the look of the E Pace.

Hearing good things about the BMW though.

Yeah, the Leaf is never gonna cut it for what I need out of a car thankfully

Don’t you think an electric SUV is as pointless as a sumo wrestler in martial arts

Problem with the BMW & Jag is the range.. you might have a looker but she won’t go far.. have you seen the Prius Plug In Hybrid?

In all honesty I don’t really care about the range, the fact that they are “electric” makes the bik a lot lower and that’s all that’s slightly appealing at the moment.

The plug in Prius is horrible and Plasticky inside and not a great ride.

The BMW iperformance range is great (I’m biased). Quoted electric range is around 25 Miles but don’t expect to get anywhere near that - typically 18 in the warmer months. The Mitsubishi Outlander has just had a refresh too.

The tax incentive is changing (for the worse) soon and the new WLTP emitions testing isnt helping either.

Check out the SpeakEv forums, the are a great resource

I am, but it’s fully expensed so the range doesn’t really matter to me, that’s all...

Or.... go for a "commercial".... I went for the Land Rover Discovery commercial, and pay very very little company car tax .... nothing in fact.... (had a full 7 seat conversion done too)

There's obviously the Ford ranger, Toyota Hilux, etc etc etc etc

Northampton Somewhere

We're waiting for an Audi A5 to be delivered, bit expensive on tax.

Next time we'll probably go for a hybrid by then they might be a bit better.

I know fuck all about cars btw except if they look sexy or not

Norfuck! / Lincolnshire

Mine is due for change until next year - I’m on Audi at present. Waiting to see what’s on the list but I’m sure it’s going to include a hybrid of sorts...

I took an F-pace down to north London last week end, seriously great drive for Jag. Brought a Range Rover Autobiography back up - would be happy with either as a company car

If money was no object, I’d be daily driving a Lamborghini Aventador V12 monster
