Garden swinging

At what age do kids no longer give a shit about swings (I'm pretty clueless about children)?

I know someone with the perfect tree in their front garden for a swing, but can't be arsed to go through the effort of obtaining and putting one up if their 7 year old wouldn't care less.

I had to choose the title wisely.

Brighton - even Hove!

My parents had a rope swing in a tree for years and as an adult I’d go back and swing in it. Once, stupidly, with a mug of coffee.

Put a rope swing that swings over water near a river or lake and there's no age limit for those who want to use it.

Go over the swing park at about 6pm. You'll see the little ones vacate it, to go home for dinner, bath and bed, and the teenagers take their place.

Everyone loves a swing (except me, because I get motion sickness).

A 7 year old will love it (if they don't get motion sickness).

The American swings were my favourite; you don't see them any more, but one park has a great circular one, with one chair, two disc seats and a thing you can hang onto. It goes around like the fairground swings.

My nan and grampy had a swing in their garden for me when i was little. I used it till my my mid teens.

You can’t beat the feeling of flying through the air, legs kicking, hair blowing wild and leaning back to see if you can get your hair to touch the floor.

Happy days.

Swinging until you get the bumps, jumpers for goalposts.

In another part of this park there is a zip wire... but that's only good if there is someone to push you off..

Well that's kind of why I've asked - there's no screen or wifi attached so he may not give two shits.

You never outgrow swings. As teens we’d see how high we could jump from whilst mid swing.
