What makes you try new things sexually?

Is it just curiosity and wanting to experience more?

Is it a person? Do you want to satisfy them or does their enthusiasm make you want to try?

Have you ever regretted trying something new? Are some best left as fantasy?

Most of the things I want to try are things that are a step up from what I already like

I like rough play and role play so I want to do a force play mmf

I like a cock and a dildo at the same time so want to try dvp but with 2 cocks

Can be any number of reasons, sometimes it's simple curiosity based on seeing/reading something - others it's because someone else has wanted to try it and after discussing it I've either been intrigued myself or at least not repulsed so have helped indulge their fantasy (although wouldn't do it JUST because they wanted to or to curry favour).

Other times it's an urge that comes from within that can't be controlled.

There really is no single factor but then I've always (even going back to my formative sexual experiences) been broad minded and inquisitive sexually and there's not a great deal that's safe, sane and consensual that I wouldn't at least try.

Don't think there's anything I particularly wouldn't do again having tried it, apart from perhaps taking a Dominant role which I really didn't feel comfortable with either mentally or physically.

Im someone who is natuarlly curious and will try most things if they are related to what im into ..

Im always open to new suggestions and have also tried out a few fantasies which were amazing

There was only one thing i tried that i wasnt particularly taken with but im glad i tried it otherwise how would i have known

I love sex and quite willing to try most things so long as it doesn’t involve pain to myself, poo, other women and isn’t illegal.

I also don’t do fisting or anal, but apart from that i’m open minded

The only experimentation I have done has been on myself. I don’t have a co-experimenter with whom to explore such things. I guess testing my capacity for patience has been my most fruitful experiment

If something is suggested that I havnt done before, I'll consider it within what I find acceptable to do.

If it turns them on for me to have a go, that turns me on so win win

I have tried a few new things recently so I must be getting more adventurous

I think turning 30 did it for me...

I had lots of things I’d never tried, and lots of things I wanted to try again

Not just sexual, I’ve travelled far more since hitting 30, changed my career, moved house, new car etc... like a mid life crisis...

But 30 was definitely the time of getting myself out there and exploring my sexuality a bit more

Previous to turning 30, I was quite vanilla, but also not interested in putting the effort into my sex life, or anything else for that matter

Last 3 and 3/4 years have been extremely interesting to say the least

New things tend to crop up because of my natural curiosity and the open mindedness of my lover. I tend to communicate really really well with someone that I'm in an intimate relationship with.

When I was younger I would try new things solely to please the person I was with. Nowadays it's a mix of that and curiosity.
