Have you ever made a promise to someone whom you could never keep? I have which will stay one tell the end but it could end up broken too?

I wouldn't make a promise I knew I couldn't keep, but if I remember correctly from a previous thread of yours about a promise you made, and it's the same thing; I don't think you can genuinely make a promise that involves a 3rd party input, and certainly no one could hold you to something which may not be in your control of fulfilling.

If we made a promise to someone whom in which we could never keep it would need the fingers getting crossed and till the end never to be told! unless it was outed as a lie?. (And breathe).
