Protecting my personal safety us my only concern. I'm a genuine single woman. I have no one to protect me. So I do all that I can.
This site isn't as safe as you may think. Plenty if users have been exposed my daily newspapers. Newspapers have been known to set up profiles on here to expose "our sordid lives" because apparently it's in the public's best interest to know who's on a friends and benefits and a swingers site .
Do I want my teenage son's, my dad, his work colleagues, my work colleagues, and anyone else that I know in my personal life to see I'm on here?? Erm no thank you!
The risk of this site being hacked etc maybe minimal but it's still a possibility. So I shall continue to keep my face pic off this site and share it by other means.
If that doesn't suit you or anyone else, tough! I'll continue to use fab/My profile as I already do. My in person verifications prove who i am and what I'm like in the flesh. Clearly it's working for me! | |||

"Anyone with a PC can create a photo that will pass verification. It's no guarantee that the person behind the profile is genuine. "How do you spot a fake? We all have our own ways / methods to spot fakes. Surely if you’ve been on this site longer than 3/4 months and ain’t photo verified, ain’t verified by a meet & have no face pics, that screams a fake!! But what else do you folks think screams a fake? I dont think any of the ways you mention scream fake. And why would you say that? It takes seconds to get photo verified or if you meet someone it takes 1 message to ask them to leave a verification.
