She was a fabulous politician.

Real old guard who cared more about those she represented than her personal gain.

Whilst suffering she campaigned to improve things for many others. Definitely too young to go

i was really sad to hear this this morning.... she may have been a south london mp, but she had more to do with the regeneration on east london than almost anyone!!!

without her we would certainly have not gotten the olympics... and she was a fantastic person to have a conversation with (i have to say i was really lucky to just sit down with her for 20 minutes and talk)

if you get the chance.... go and look at her last house of lord speech a few about the brain cancer she had and cancer care in general... it was so moving and had me in tears! as farewells in effect go, she went out fighting and with so much dignity....

RIP Dame Tessa.....

A huge loss... One politician I felt knew what they were talking about and did so with care and compassion. Such a wicked disease.

Thank you for the link, was a moving speech that received a standing ovation.

The tumor was only diagnosed last May when she was getting in a taxi and was unable to speak.

RIP Tessa Jowell

She was an inspirational woman and that House of Lords speech was a great tribute and reminder of her. I've shed tears today due to her loss.

January 25th. Incredible speech, incredible lady.

John Bercow paid tribute to her on April 20th.

"Why not theresa may..."

This is in extremely poor taste!

Put your political hatred feelings aside and instead take a long hard look at Tessa Jowell.

If you are able to comprehend it, she was one of the "old school" of MP's who actually were professional, cared for what they stood for and those they represented.

Watching the news it seems she was a well liked politician and young black guy spoke how because of her he is now a councillor and showed a txt he received from her a few days before she passed away congratulation him , she played a big part in getting the Olympics to London and when she came 2nd to Sadiqu Khan for London Mayor still helped him push his policy through the last speech she gave at the House If Lords or Commons had them in tears and a standing ovation.I am not the most clued up on politics but she came across as a person that cares and did all she could to help a class act. RIP Tessa Jowell

Just start another thread wishing Theresa May dead if you really want to discuss it, I'm not sure there's a place for threads wishing people dead but this thread certainly isn't it

Its really not appropriate under any circumstances.

Wishing someone, anyone, whether you like, dislike, respect or hate them to have cancer is pretty vile.

I suggest we stop giving this poor excuse for a human being oxygen.
