I think you misunderstanding the idea I don't want to just text and go for it I want to text on the pretence of the wrong number and see if the wife would reply and see how far it goes

Few people imo would respond to unsolicited texts in a positive way. Far better to arrange to bump into her at a coffee shop etc and see how you get on. Anyone who fancies arranging for me to be enjoying a hot drink somewhere, whilst some guys compete to be the first in my knickers, could be up for a hot time

Your opening post didn't make it sound like it was a fantasy but regardless of that it's still something that I personally find borderline creepy if done completely randomly and without the knowledge or consent of the recipient

Agreed. Some people watch too much porn. With 99.9% of women if they got a message from a bloke they didn't know who then tried to steer a conversation in a sexual direction, they would find it threatening.

I once had a new bathroom fitted and the (very young) plumber texted me to check all was OK. It was and then next thing I know he's telling me he'd like to see me naked in my new bath. He's lucky it was me cos we then spent a few days sexting filth to each other. He came round a couple of times for sex but I don't know if he did that to all his clients!

Was fun though.

The difference between that and what the OP is suggesting though being that you presumably had already met him, and possibly had a bit of banter when you did, were aware he had your number and may contact you and were obviously open to him taking things further.

Which is significantly different from being contacted anonymously by a complete stranger.

I once had a random text off someone.

After a few messages from me trying to find out who it was and them insisting that I had sent them a picture first (I hadn't), it ended with me demanding they they didn't contact me again and if they did, I would be contacting the police.

It won't end well for you OP. At the least you will get abuse, at worst a criminal record!
