He's old enough to make the worst decisions imaginable at the minute and it's the age where I have no choice but to let him start learning from his own mistakes with bad choices.

I'm going grey with the stress and worry of it.

Nope, it’s just a different kind of worry when they grow up. You no longer worry that they’ll be snatched from the street or get run over but you learn to worry about other things.

My eldest is just getting to age where they can have more freedom and independence and I hate it, he's even going away with his friend and his family this summer and I'm worrying about it already, goodness knows how I'll cope when they go to uni, full-time employment, holidays and leave home. I keep telling them they don't need to ever need to leave home and Fred keeps telling them they do!!

My eldest joined the army at 16.... hardest time of my life! Youngest is 17 now and Ive told him he needs to live at home until he is at least 40!
