We liked Israel.

It's been a lovely family night discussing the crappiness of some of the songs. The veneers on the presenters' teeth, boob tape holding dresses in place and whether the flatter chested presenter had contour make up for her boobs.

We enjoyed the tension of the vote and the twist of what the public vote for. The public liked Israel.

I think the reason the UK doesn’t score well is more just other countries thinking we’re pretty arrogant and treat it all as a joke when they’re taking it a bit more seriously. That’s fair enough, even when we love it, we love it cos it’s a piss-take!
