Boston, Lincolnshire

The very best jerky (beef, horse, vegan etc.) is from our friends in Wales, Martin & Susie of Martin's Jerked Meat aka Cowley's Fine Foods. They also do peanut butter, mulled wine (try theirs at Lincoln medieval Christmas market)

They were on Dragon's Den a while back but they just abused Martin for having a Pink Mohican, so they made a dragon's bane jerky - it's very hot & spicy!

I've had some jerky from this guy. Years ago when I visited Wales. It was great stuff with a good kick of heat

Essex.

We love biltong, the African version...

We love biltong too.

We used to make it ourselves, until it was ready availible to buy online.

We've now found a localish butcher who produces it, so we now buy it from him.

The beef jerky packs in the UK are tiny. How is that naughty?

We buy ours dry in kilos, but you can get it wetter and in smaller amounts from specialist butchers or meat suppliers.
