Absolutely. I do what i can to increase the numbers of all pollinating insects; planting the flowers that they like and limiting my use of chemicals.

Its probably my biggest pleasure in life is watching nature there is so much to see just in your garden, and the butterflies play a big part in that we had a few brimstone butterflies in april on (some) warm days holly blues are popular to at the moment.

This is the reason we love these forums.

I don’t think any other place has such a diverse range of topics on the go at once, it’s like a little snapshot of humanity.

From somebody getting legal advice on fathering a child, through to butterflies and gloryholes, it’s great!

North Bucks

I seem to have had quite a few come into the house and garden in the last couple of weeks. I have left an area along my hedgerow to grow into wild grass and flowers leaving about a two foot barrier where hopefully they can hang out.

One landed on my dogs nose while he was sleeping in the sun but I couldn’t get my camera out in time it was beautiful.
