Probably because women get so many messages that they bulk delete, and some guys might think they've deleted thier message without reading? Maybe?

With the new mail system (grouping) it’s even funnier to see the same cut and paste messages one after another with weeks in between.

My question is if (as is correct) it's personality what matters, how the hell can you decide someone is not your type just by a message on here, for me initially it is about making contact with someone and then seeing if they are "your type". I have been told I'm not someone's type and I only said "hello" lmao

Personality is only part of it though. It may be shallow but people judge other based on looks. and without mutual attraction then no amount of personality is likely to change that.

I must admit, I've done that with someone after forgetting to block. He was being very nice and I thought I'd see how many times he would get a no thanks before noticing it was me.

They probably just forget they mailed already.

The ones having a go even when they don't fit the criteria probably aren't malicious, just being friendly.

Many get so fed up with getting no replies they just mail everyone within a 200 mile radius.

It's not rude, it's sensible. But, as you say, you organise socials, so you don't want to be blocking men who might want to go to one.

So, you have to put up with it.

There are times I delete all my messages without reading. Times when I'm not on the mood. Others when that person doesn't tickle my pickle at that exact moment. They tried again and I've changed my mind.

If you don't want them creeping up your drainpipe again, block em?

Having seen you in a club look straight past me when searching for another guy to join your greedy girl sessions, it’s easy to feel sympathy for those guys you have turned down but your absolutely right , why would you choose a person that doesn’t turn you on instantly or fit your self made check list?

That same night I also witnessed poetic justice as a I guy you picked said “ no thanks “ and the guy you had picked had little to no stamina.

I have my own personal preference to what I find attractive and I’m so happy it never clouds my judgement or I would of missed out on some amazing meets.

That is slagging me off or at least trying to belittle me. I've messaged ppl for it to be just deleted or a no thanks and I accept it for that

I wouldn't continue to message them tho or hope they change their mind. I speak to everyone.... That doesn't mean I would have sex with them!!!

Again .... I host events so blocking someone cos they aren't my type isn't fair as that would automatically exclude them from attending future events.

No ? That’s me licking my wounds and finding a way to bounce back from a knock back maybe not the best place to mention it but like I say your never going to get the perspective with unlimited offers so you will never understand why guys send you endless messages after a no from you.

I would never re-message someone who didn’t reply until one day when I read on someone’s profile that she gets so many messages, it’s sometimes worth messaging her again if she doesn’t reply...

I thought about it a bit... and I then decided to re-message a few of the local hotties in my area, who hadn’t replied to me...

To my surprise, most of them replied...

A couple of them said they might be interested in the future..., I’m not ashamed to admit that the majority said no...

But some of them actually wanted to meet...

None actually turned into meets, due to time wasting, one got into a relationship, and one was a bit weird... bit the rest are still on my hot/hit list

I genuinely don’t like to pester, because I know how much some guys bombard the girls on these kinds of sites...

but I have changed my mind on whether of not you should message the same person more than once, even if they don’t reply...

So long as your message is polite, to the point, and you don’t get arsey, I think it should be ok...

Remember, you can always politely decline, or block them

I used to do that...

But, I have realised that not everyone knows what they want... and I have fancied loads of ladies that weren’t my type...

So I just politely message...

Even if it’s to say something like...

“Great pics, might not be what you’re looking for, but if I am... let me know”

If they get offended, that’s their problem...

But the amount of positive responses I’ve had in that last month or so from messaging anyway, has made it worthwhile...

I’ll be honest, it’s a low percentage...

But there’s been one or two really nice girls who have responded positively... which is all I’m bothered about

I’d just say, be brave, give it a go, and you never know what will happen...

In my personal life... over the last few years... I have never chased women...

I usually end up in bed or in relationships with them because they have initiated something...

I prefer not to do the chasing

However... recently, in that last 12-18 months, I’ve changed my approach on online dating...

only for casual meets and hookups...

Don’t get me wrong... I’m not getting swarms of women...

It takes time...

But I have met more women in the last 12 months than I have done in the last few years

I’m not sure I’d like to meet a future partner in this way... but itvhas worked for like-minded women who are looking for a casual relationship, or nothing serious

Putting out a meet hasn’t ever worked for me...

However... I have had a few messages from women too far away... some maybe it’ll just take a bit of time

All I will say is this

Be polite, be interesting, be honest, and don’t come across as easy or needy... and you will be surprised at how well women respond... even if it’s a ‘No’

You can add notes to peoples profiles on here (in case you didn’t know)

So I usually put “Wasn’t interested” or “Not meeting until...” etc.

(Ducks for cover)

For me I' m afraid it's looks first, followed by profile and then content/tone of first message. "

I'm fucked then, too fugly to be on here

Hey guys, I was being genuine...

I wasn’t one for making first contact to begin with... and I get a lot more ‘no’s’ that ‘yes’s’...

Like I explained...

I can’t see what the problem with that is? Especially considering that I explained that most people still said no...

All I was saying to the guy was that I have been surprised by how positively most ladies have responded to me since I started being a bit more forward... and less like a wallflower

You girls do have it much easier on this site... all you have to do is update your status and say ‘bored’, and you’ll get an inbox full...

It doesn’t work like that for us guys, unfortunately...

Nowt wrong with sharing a bit of advice

And like I said...

It’s resulted in one or two more meets and a few extra interesting chats... which can only be a positive
