Cervical orgasms after a LLETZ?

Over the rainbow

I'm having a lletz done on Friday. Other than being frightened because of the procedure...I'm frightened that I'll never have a cervical orgasm again. It's my favourite.

Anybody had this done? Does it affect sex afterwards? (Other than not getting any for 4 to 6 weeks!)

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

P didn't have that but particular procedure but while they're 'in the area' have you asked about endometrial ablation (assuming you don't want any or more kids) as no more periods pretty much for ever.

Why have you got to wait so long?

I only got my biopsy results on Friday.

Yes!! She had her tubes tied about 7 or 8 years ago after an ectopic pregnancy scare and apart from an occasional slight discharge at the usual time, she's not had a period since having it done. I think they laser the lining of the womb and as your little op sounded similar (after I Googled it) I thought I'd make the suggestion. If you want to pm her I'm sure she could add more info for you but she's on a 14hr shift today so won't be home until tonight.

I’ve had LLETZ a few times, last one was in October with a colposcopy & cervical biopsy.

Nothing to be scared of, is very much like a smear test but takes longer - take 2 paracetamol beforehand just in case as you can feel a bit period crampy after. You can go straight back to work if you feel ok.

No sex for 4 weeks but then straight back at it no problems at all xx

You will be fine, promise xxx

I haven't got my biopsy results yet but the nurse doing the colposcopy could see two areas which need removing. They have been minitoring them for 3 years since an abnormal smear. She said to expect a Leittz appointment when I officially get my biopsy results.

Depends who's doing it.

I had a surgeon do my colposcopy and lap he wasn't happy with what the dye showed up and straight for the removal all under local.

A tad pain and a little bleeding after but no worse than a period cramp.

Just try and relax op.

OMFG that was the most painful thing ever.

Small needle my arse! The injections for the anesthetic were agonising.

I'm in bed now in so much pain.

Nevermind orgasms, I don't think I'm letting anyone put anything up there ever again!!!

I barely noticed - I’m sorry your experience was so different

I've had that procedure and I think it actually helped me get amazing cervical orgasms! I can just keep cumming. No problems here
