I know the feeling, I agreed to work today too so now I get to watch everyone drinking outside the bars looking like they have no care in the world, damn I’m gonna turn green with envy

I'm about to get ready for work. It's not something I agreed to for extra money, it's just another day in my industry. I do believe every job should pay double time at least on a bank holiday

Definitely! We get time and a half only, but I'm not contracted to work Mondays and as there's no overtime I'm not working.

Gone are the days where you got double time and a day off in lieu. That's retail for you, tight bastards!!!!
