A couple of questions for a little discussion,

A) Furthest you have travelled for a meet?

B) Biggest distance you’d talk to someone in hope of it progressing to a meet?

Either way that’s a plane or boat... that’s dedication to a meet

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I went to Belfast, mind you I was working in Stranraer at the time, the ferry crossing was adventurous to say the least...

Have chatted to and met a few ladies from the South coast who travelled to stop at mine.

Distance is no barrier if there's a connection

Exactly my thinking, but it seems a lot people clearly state “within X miles” or “local only” or something along them lines. I can understand why though if they’ve had experiences of being stood up etc. Exactly why I thought it might be an interesting post as everyone will have different thoughts and opinions on it

Distance is not an issue for the right connection.

One group social meet was approx 150 miles away.

One lady I was chatting to just had to give me the nod and I would have happily travelled the 275 miles to hers, alas it was a knock back instead!
