I love that fact that swinging couples can be honest with each other about what they want sexually you have something special.how many none swinging couples lie cheat and breakup family's because they can't be honest with each other.

I don't think being a swinging couple means you are more open and honest. Monogamous couples can be just the same, their fantasies just don't involve other people.

Truefact. Swinging is just one aspect of sex. Loads of non swinging couples are equally as honest with each other. Swinging relationships aren't better in any way and loads of swingers have very poor relationships.

Lots aren't honest about any of it. There are quite a few where one of them is only doing it to keep the other happy.

Swinging couples are likely to have rules in place for what’s acceptable or not and sometimes those rules get bent or broken just like in the vanilla world. Depends on the person and their morales

I would say yes in a way for cheating but it their lifestyle which they chose but on here it seem more one sided to be honest.

Who knows but they aren't honest with themselves or their partner.

I think that swingers are like the rest of the population. A percentage will have rock solid, honest relationships and the rest won't.

Yep.

Normally you wouldn't get to glimpse a couples private sex life, so it appears that a disproportionate number of swinging couples are honest with each other about fantasies etc.

We'd have never got anywhere near this swinging lark if we weren't in the best place we've ever been in our marriage.

The last 2-3 years of a marriage that's over 25 years long have been the best. Everything has gone up a level... the love, the friendship, the sex, the social life. And amongst all this, a bit of fantasy chat during sex led us BOTH to think "Wouldn't be be fun if..."

There's been no collusion, and no reluctance from either of us.

Of course, we don't want to risk or damage what we have, so we are happy to go at our own pace and choose playmates very carefully. If either of us have any doubt we don't progress.

It's given us a sexy new shared hobby.

The common swinging scenario is quite a limited type of experience. It doesn't usually involve intimacy and passion and, more often than not, isn't very erotic either as it doesn't really get in your head. It's just physical. There are some couples who are ok with this. But private one on one regular meets are just so much more sexy that they do often lure people who aren't satisfied with the common swinging experience. Add to this the simple fact that what is taboo is often deeply erotic... and keeping secrets is clearly taboo. And it's easy to see why some swingers cheat.

There are a few (very few) couples who get eroticism and let their swinging experiences go to the next level. But ironically they can often either be non swingers themselves or play with non swingers
