I just booked a room with the Holiday Inn in MK and realised i cant cancel it or else i'll loose all my money. So im bent on having a fantastic time in this beautiful town.

Please can anyone suggest clubs/cocktail bars i can visit? Or if anyone else is out for the night and would just want to have some drinks i wouldn't mind that either.

if you are after some peace and quiet I'd recommend going on a match day to frenzy dome aka stadium MK

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

I spent 3 months working down there in the 80's concreting the Sainsbury's loading bay. There used to be a good chip shop just over the road

North Bucks

Get yourself down to Pinks if it’s open. Failing that aside from the normal bars it’s a bit soulless.

Stony and Wolverton are a little better if the Crauford has a night on.

There would have only been one Sainsbury's in the early 80's and that would have been the Bletchley one, at the time it was the busiest one in the country. I think the chip shop was called Greens.

Last time I looked it was still there and hadn't been returned since the 80s at least!

When I moved away, I swore I'd never ever return...but there are worse places in the world.

Prefer Liverpool though
