How many times do you go on a meet and find the person is better looking in person than the pics or vice versa

I find this happens all the time. For many people their pictures really don't do them justice.

A picture can give you a sense of what someone looks like but it can't convey the cheeky glint in their eyes or give you a sense of the person.

Yes I have had that and regretted not meeting him earlier. He was even more fit as fuck face to face.

Yup. It's not always easy to get the right picture. And some attractive people naturally look worse on camera.

On there was one. Much more stunning in person. I was very open mouthed for a second - she was pretty in the pictures but in person

I've met quite a few celebs who have been regular faces on TV and when I met them they were way better looking in the flesh.

When I told people "Wow! He/she is really hot in the flesh!" they've gone "Really?"

Sometimes this happens. I always worry that because my pics are professionally taken people are going to be disappointed with the reality, but so far luckily that hasn't happened (unless they are just being incredibly polite)!

My biggest fear is my pics look better than me in real life.

I wish someone would meet me. I don’t photograph well.

You can tell the basics of a handsome face in a picture but I always think people look better in the flesh because they're there and you can touch them!

That guy I met in novemeber though, nothing prepared me for that, he is stunning, he's set the bar so high that I'm struggling now to find people that I'm attracted to. I just want him, why do people have to have free will

In person a face is animated, eye contact can be made and body language comes into play - all of which can make people more attractive and turns an initial cerebral/visual attraction into a corporeal one. I don't think it's the case that people look 'better' in real life than in their pics; it's just that in real life there are more (and often subconscious) factors that come into play that give you more detailed layers of attraction you then apply to said pics with the benefit of reality hindsight. Or at least I hope so, I'm photogenic so I worry I look better in pics and disappoint in reality.

I get told it frequently, mostly in the form of the fact I look slimmer in person but that’s likely because I’m quite tall

I’ve only had one meet where he looked worse but that was due to him using photos that were of him when he was much younger. I could definately tell it was him just a much older version and I like guys around my own age so he just wasn’t but for me then, that and the whole deceitful aspect of it made me feel “meh” about the situation

Pretty much this. It can work both ways I suppose, but a person animated face is normally a more attractive sight that a picture would, you can't tell alot of things from a picture like the way some people's faces and eyes smile with them when it's natural. Have to say I doubt those last 3 words though.

We have been told we are nicer in the flesh than our pics, we have also found that when meeting others, i agree pics dont give those cheeky glints or cheeky sparkle in their eyes x
